Welcome to the first ever Wings on Display Airport Day at Mark Anton Municipal Airport in beautiful Dayton TN. This is a FREE event and we have 3 sections of static aircraft displays: Warbirds/ Vintage/ Modern. In our Warbirds section you will find pieces of our great Nations military to include the P-51 Mustang “Old Crow” and a PBY Catalina as well as many other great aircraft from the Radial Piston Era. In our Vintage section you will find the “Flagship Detroit” DC-3 whom will be doing interior tours and a gorgeous Cessna 195 from Flare Bourbon as well as many golden aged aircraft from all around. Our Modern section will have Cirrus Aircraft and their sales team out surrounded by many unique and head-turning airplanes around every corner. Not into the airplane lifestyle? No problem! We have live bands like The Wandering Willows, Mt LeConte Jug Band, and Wade Sims. Fantastic food trucks and a vendor arts and crafts market. Oh and we didn’t forget the kids after all we aim high to not only do something for the kids but make this all about them. Our show is to “Inspire the youth of today to make them the aviators of tomorrow”. We have a big Kids Zone with games, prizes, and fun just for them. So plan a day with us and come experience a show like no other and see these machines up close and personnel! We can’t wait to see you at the Wings on Display Airport Day on September 7th 2024 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
For all pilots arriving via aircraft we will not be selling fuel to transient aircraft day of show. All aircraft will be parking in the NW field and along the taxiway surface to the west. Our team will gladly help you find a parking area upon arrival. We ask that you do not fly into the show in a jet or heavy aircraft due to weight restrictions in the grass.
